Welcome to Prayas Sewa Samiti, where our commitment to providing effective and compassionate care is guided by a set of principles designed to ensure the well-being of our patients and their families. Here’s an overview of the key points that shape our approach:
- Treatment Duration: At Prayas Sewa Samiti, our treatment programs are structured to span a period of six months, allowing for a comprehensive and dedicated approach to rehabilitation.
- Financial Commitment: Regardless of the reason for admission, a full six-month treatment fee is required to be paid, emphasizing the importance of financial commitment to the patient’s journey towards recovery.
- Initial Meeting Protocol: The first meeting with the patient is scheduled 40 days after admission, providing an initial period for adjustment. Only individuals with a blood relation to the patient are allowed during this meeting.
- Subsequent Meetings: Additional meetings and conversations can be arranged on a monthly basis in special circumstances, post the initial meeting. A staff member will be present during these interactions, and guardians are encouraged to seek information directly from the patient.
- Meeting Guidelines: No more than three individuals are allowed to meet the patient at one time, with each meeting limited to a duration of 30 minutes.
- Responsibility Disclaimer: Prayas Sewa Samiti holds no responsibility in cases of patient death due to chronic illnesses or self-harm while within the institution.
- Rule Violations: In the event of a patient breaking institution rules, appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken, with guardians informed beforehand. Importantly, physical punishment is strictly excluded.
- Property Damage: Any damage to institutional property by the patient will be the financial responsibility of the patient’s family members.
- Fee Payment: Monthly fees must be paid in advance to ensure uninterrupted and continuous care for the patient.
- Guardian Access: Guardians are welcome to visit the institution between 10 am and 5 pm, where they can observe their patient through CCTV cameras and assess the quality of food provided.
- Initial Supervision: During the first 15 days of admission, patients will be under special staff supervision. In cases of mental illness due to intoxication, treatment will be sought externally, with the associated costs borne by the patient’s family.
- Compliance Expectations: Patients and guardians are expected to adhere to all rules and regulations outlined by Prayas Sewa Samiti, fostering a harmonious and effective care environment.
By adhering to these principles, Prayas Sewa Samiti aims to create a supportive and structured environment, ensuring a successful and transformative rehabilitation journey for our patients.
